Kuala Lumpur Cricket Association will be organizing the annual Yayasan Sime Darby International Cricket Carnival starting Friday, 14th till Sunday 16th August 2015. A total of 16 teams; 8 in the Under 16 Category & 8 more teams in the Under 18 category will compete in this year's event. The foreign teams from India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Nepal and the teams from Malaysia will compete in 2 categories; the Under 16 & Under 18 Categories. A total of 8 teams will be playing in each category.

This year's Carnival will for the first time feature a junior team from Nepal. The Nepal Junior team will feature under the auspices of their National team Captain, Paras Khadka.

Teams will be divided into 2 groups of four teams for both the categories. The teams in the under 16 Category are Kusal Janith Cricket Academy, Sri Lanka ( KJCA), Negombo Cricket Academy, Sri Lanka ( NCA), Golden G Sports Association, Sri Lanka ( GGSA), Singapore Cricket Academy, Singapore ( SingCA), Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre, Nepal (KCTC), Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS), Negeri Sembilan Cricket Association (NSCA) & Kuala Lumpur Cricket Association ( KLCA)

The Under 18 Category is made up Kusal Janith Cricket Academy, Sri Lanka (KJCA), Negombo Cricket Academy, Sri Lanka (NCA), Golden G Sports Association, Sri Lanka (GGSA), Cricket Federation of India ( CFI), Selangor Cricket Association (SCA), Negeri Sembilan Cricket Association ( NSCA), Kinrara Young Cricketers Club (KYCC) & Royal Selangor Club (RSC)

The 8 a-side, 12 overs per side Competition is will be played at the Royal Selangor Club Oval , Kinrara Oval, Bayuemas Oval & Club Aman Oval. Teams will play a round-robin league in the first round. The top 2 teams from either categories will qualify to play in the Winners Pool with the 2 other teams from each group play in the Losers Pool. The winners in both the Winners & Losers pool will the Final of their respective pool, while the loser will with pit each other for the 3rd placing.

A combine total of 52 matches will be played in the 3 days of the Carnival. On the final day, Sunday, 16th August 2015, all matches will be played at the RSC Oval only. For a weekend of fun for the whole family; also included during the 3 days carnival are activities like Bouncy Castle, Kids Fun Cricket & other entertaining cricket challenges.
