Negeri Sembilan were crowned champions of the 2015 MCA Fast Track Inter-State League after defeating Kuala Lumpur by 10 wickets in the final at Kinrara Oval.
KL were put into bat after losing the toss and struggled early on. NS medium pacer Faiz Nasir wrecked their top order with 5/39. No KL batsman passed 19 as they stumbled to 112 all out. In reply, NS got off to a shaky start and were 53/3 when the heavens opened and that prevented any further play on day one. With only 13 wickets falling, a draw looked the likely result which would mean NS's first innings total would be crucial. On day two, KL began well with Nazril Rahman striking three times in quick succession. NS found themselves in trouble at 93/8 but Faiz Nasir, this time with bat in hand, guided the visitors past KL's total.
With the ninth wicket falling on 115, it looked like NS wouldn't have much of a lead. However, all-rounders Nasir (45*) and Anuar Rahman (53) had other ideas as they put on 84 for the last wicket to take NS up to 199.
KL knew they were up against it now and matters were made even worse for them when they were bundled out for 123 with Shankar Sathish picking up 4 wickets. This left NS a simple chase of 37 which they then knocked off in 8.3 overs without losing a wicket to claim their first Fast Track title.
